The fighting and the high concentration of PMC operatives in Karvash revealed evidence of the presence of yet another group. No one knows who they are or what their objectives might be; all that is known is that they are dangerous. They first appeared in public in small groups, raising numerous questions. That happened only once; since then, they have not been seen among the populace. In an official After-Action Report (AAR), the PMC documented a single clash in which they lost a few operatives. It took place at night in a remote section of the forest, at the ancient Chaskar crag. Official sources offer no clarity regarding the PMC's purpose in going there, as the area contains no Varex infrastructure. The only tangible evidence of their presence consists of the dead operatives and a single staff topped with a black animal skull—an item that vanished from all reports almost immediately.
